Project:   Auburn High School

Location: Auburn, WA

Size:       $2,400,000

Auburn High School will be the largest metal roofing project that we have done to date.  Our installers will be putting together the roof sub assembly as well as 1400 squares of a mechanically seamed metal roof panel from Taylor Metals.  In addition, we will be installing 210 squares of AEP Span PS12 wall panels and 15 squares of soffit panels.

Year:       2015

Project:   Bates/Mohler

Location: Tacoma, WA

This project has been in the design phase for close to 10 years. We are installing 85 squares of Una Clad composite panels, 40 squares of Bryer's corrugated metal wall panels, 9 squares of Bryer's Superseam roof panel and 150 GFRC panels. This is the first project where we have installed concrete wall panels.

Project:   La Conner Middle School

Location: La Conner, WA

On this project we are installing several different products from Taylor Metals. There are 4220 squares of MS200 mechanically-seamed wall panels, 40 squares of Versa Span wall panels, 45 squares of corrugated wall panels and 5 squares of flush panels. We are also installing miscellaneous flashings for the masons, glaziers and Hardie installers.

Project:   Explorer Middle School

Location: Mukilteo, WA

Size:       $175,000

This is one of the smaller projects we have done in a while but it is just minutes from our office.  We are installing 110 squares of AEP Span's Nu Wave panel.  90 squares are being installed on the walls and 10 squares on the roof. We are also installing miscellaneous flashing such as window pans and coping.

Project:   Harrison Prep

Location: Lakewood, WA

Size:       $1,400,000

On this project, we are installing a variety of different panels.  The majority of the panels are 365 squares of Metal Sales T10-A corrugated panels in two different colors.  We are also installing 85 squares of Metal Sales Soffit panels.  In addition to metal wall panels, we are also installing 120 squares of Trespa Meteon panels.  The 140 square roof will be Metal Sales Magna Loc panels.

Project:   Cascade Middle School

There are several products that we typically install that we were not awarded on this project but we installed 200 squares of AEP Span's Span Lok panels. We also put on miscellaneous sheet metal flashing and trim around the building.

Year:       2013

Project:   Bellevue High School

Location: Bellevue, WA

Size:       $2,500,000

The majority of this project was installation of James Hardie CFB panels. There are 760 squares of 3 different exterior systems made up of Green Guard weather barrier, Blueskin peel and stick, Roxul exterior insulation, perforated z-furring, ColorPlus Hardie panels with an aluminum batt system or standard Hardie with AMS extruded moldings. There was also 350 squares of interior CFB panels and 85 squares of CFB soffit. We installed 300 squares of AMS metal roof panels over an insulated sub-system, installed all of the flashing for the roofers as well as made some small parts for other trades.

Project:   View Ridge Elementary School

Location: Everett, WA

View Ridge Elementary is primarily a flashing project for us. We are installing the material that is integrated in to the single ply system, the cement fiber board cladding, windows and gutters. We are also installing 3 squares of composite panels along with 40 squares of canopy panels.

Project:   Community Resource Center

Location: Everett, WA

On this project, we installed a variety of different panels. The majority of the panels are 100 squares of insulated panels from Metal Span. We also installedg 65 squares of AEP Span's PS12 panel, 4 squares of composite panels from Bestworth Rommel and 3 squares of AEP Span's Span Lock panel.

Project:   Hudtloff Middle School

Location: Lakewood, WA

Size:       $1,400,000

Hudtloff is made up mostly of Knight Wall's furring system. The majority is behind acrylic plaster panels applied by others but we are installed it behind our cladding. In addition to installing Green Guard weather barrier, we also installed Swiss Pearl composite panels, Northclad aluminum plate, Trespa panels and AEP Span Multi-Lok roof panels.

Project:   Cherry Crest Elementary

Location: Bellevue, WA

Size:       $425,000

Cherry Crest is made up of a lot of small parts. We are installing 8 squares of Trespa, 15 squares of AEP Span PS12 soffit panels, 120 squares of AEP Span PS12 wall panels and 30 squares of AEP Span's Span Lock roof panels. We are also fabricating all of the sequenced CFB flashings for another subcontractor and installing window flashings for the glazier.

Project:   Redmond High School Renovation

Location: Redmond, WA

At Redmond High School, we are installing 175' long AEP Span's Span Lock mechanically seamed panels. Due to expansion and contraction, we installed them in 3 sections that are linked together with an engineered swage plate system. We also installed the metal roof sub system, AEP Span's Nu Wave siding panel and other miscellaneous flashings.

Project:   John Muir Elementary School

Location: Kirkland, WA

John Muir is mainly a flashing project. We are providing flashing for the roofers and masons as well as flashing integrated with the window systems. We also have approximately 50 squares of AEP Span SpanLock on some small canopies.

Project:   Federal Way Public Schools

Location: Federal Way, WA

Federal Way Public Schools is made up of a number of different buildings. We will be installing 300 squares of Kingspan Insulated Panels, 30 squares of corrugated metal roofing and 75 squares of metal soffit panels.

Project:   Auxilary Services Building

Location: Bellingham, WA

This building is at the outer limits of our current work area. We installed 165 squares of AMS' Armor Lock roof panel and 65 squares of AEP Span's PS12 flush panel. We also installed some miscellaneous flashings, gutters and downspouts.

Project:   West Point Treatment Facility

Location: Seattle, WA

This was the first time we have installed Northclad's panel system. It was comprised of approximately 200 custom panels to make up 30 squares of cladding. We also installed 45 squares of AEP Span's Span Lock roof panel, 7 squares of Northclad's standing seam wall panel, 6 squares of AEP Span's PS12 panel and 20 custom interior panels from Forms and Surfaces.

Project:   Echo Glen Childrens Center

Location: Issaquah, WA

This was our first single ply project. We installed 95 squares of Versico PVC membrane and it was a great success.  We received a 10 out of 10 rating!  We also installed 155 squares of AEP Span's Span Lock metal roofing and 75 squares of Hardie lap siding.

Year:        2012

Project:    Northshore Fire Headquarters

Location:  Kenmore, WA

This is a smaller building that has a large variety of cladding types.  We are installing about 25 squares of insulated foam panels from Metal Span, 10 squares of AEP Span HR-36 on a canopy, 25 squares of AEP Span Klip Rib roof panels, 40 squares of Hardie Panel, 20 squares of Hardie Soffit, 15 squares of cedar lap siding and 15 squares of tongue and groove soffit.  In addition, we are going to install 7" custom gutters that will be site-rolled from MD Sheet Metal.

Project:   Redmond Fire Station #17

Location: Redmond, WA

The majority of this project is metal roof panels. We are installing 155 squares of Bryer Company mechanical seam panels, a few squares of some mechanical wall panels and our MD Exteriors continuous gutter.

Project:    Lynnwood High School

Location:  Lynnwood, WA

This school has several different wall panel profiles from AEP Span.  We installed 235 squares of HR36 wall panels, 385 squares of Square Batten wall panels, 85 squares of Mini V Beam wall panels, 35 squares of Flush Panel soffit panels and 45 squares of Design Span roof panels.  We also installed 10 squares of KPS Composite Panels.  In addition to the panels, we installed the plastic skylights and curbs, expansion joints, wall anchors, seismic joints, Sch 40 steel downspouts and MD Sheet Metal custom gutters.

Project:    Newport High School

Location:  Bellevue, WA

On this project, we installed Cement Fiber Board made by James Hardie for the first time.  The Beige and Berry wall panels are McElroy's Mega-Rib and supplied by Architectural Metal Solutions.  The light-colored panels on both the interior and exterior are McElroy's 7/8" Corrugated supplied by AMS. The roof panels were run on site by AMS and installed by our crew.  MD Sheet Metal fabricated all of the flashing for this project including the Galvalume flashing around the CFB and the welded, tube steel downspouts.

Project:   McMicken Elementary School

Location: SeaTac, WA

This school is very similar in design to Marvista Elementary school that is also in SeaTac. We installed 675 squares of a full metal roof system using AEP Span's Span Lock panel, 100 squares of AEP Span's Design Span panel on the wall system and 130 squares of AEP Span's flush panels on the wall and soffit.

Project:    Marvista Elementary

Location:  Normandy Park, WA

Marvista Elementary is a project that we took over from another subcontractor.  We installed 3 different types of Metal Sales panels.  There is 60 squares of soffit panels and 185 squares of wall panels in the TLC panel.  On the conical, covered-play area roof we installed 16sq of the Batten Seam panel and on the building roof we installed 650 squares of their Vertical Seam.  As certified installers of this roofing system, we were able to provide a 20-year weathertight warranty.

Project:    Mount View Elementary

Location:  Seattle, WA

This was our first $1,000,000 project.  The roof panels are AEP Span's Klip Rib.  Some of the roofs have a staggered, transverse seam to accommodate the long lengths.  The exposed fastener wall panels are AEP Span's Box Rib.  Some of the downspouts are 6" round by 3/16" thick steel.  The tallest weighs 825 lbs.  We also made custom, soldered, stainless steel crickets behind the clerestories that are over 30' wide.

Project:    Forest View Elementary

Location:  Everett, WA

The roof system for this school is AEP Span's Span Lock panel.  This is a mechanically-seamed panel that is primarily used for low-sloped roofs.  There are three barrels roofs that cover the main corridor and three fan roofs at the main entry.  We also installed AEP Span's Mini-V Beam panel on the body of the school and their PS-12 Flush Panel in select locations.

Project:    Brighton Elementary

Location:  Seattle, WA

On this school, we installed 70,000 sq ft of Morin's SWL 18 roof panel.  This was the most cut-up roof that we have ever installed of this size.  The wall panels are Morin's 18ga, concealed fastener X-12 style rib.

Project:    Newport Heights Elementary

Location:  Bellevue, WA

This school is comprised of several different types of Metecno panels.  There is 125 squares of AP300 foam panels, 10 squares of C-37-78 wall panels, 42 squares of VB-36 wall panels, 20 squares of VB-36 canopy panels, 11 squares of F-12 soffit panels and 12 squares of SLR16 roof panels.  In addition, we installed all of the clad metal flashings, sheet metal fascia, MD Sheet Metal custom gutters, downspouts and miscellaneous flashings

Project:    Ardmore Elementary School

Location:  Bellevue, WA

Installing Hardie cladding has become a trend for the Bellevue Shool District.  On Ardmore, we installed 4 types of Hardie on 9 different substrate assemblies.  We have 90 squares of Artisan lap siding, 100 squares of 4" exposure plank siding, 60 squares of 6" exposure plank siding and 35 squares of Hardie panel.  In addition to the cement fiber board, we installed 18ga canopy panels and interior acoustical wall and ceiling panels.

Project:    Woodridge Elementary

Location:  Bellevue, WA

On this school we installed Architectural Metal Solution's Snap-Lock panels.  This is a UL90 rated panel that is site-run to exact length.  We also installed AEP Span's Mini-V Beam wall panel.  Our carpenters installed the cement fiber board provided by James Hardie.

Project:    Hamilton Middle School

Location:  Seattle, WA

On this project, we installed flashing and trim on the existing school to match that of the original design of the early 1900's.  On the new portion of the building we installed 25 squares of AEP Span's PS12 wall and soffit panels as well as 145 squares of AEP Span Span Seam roof panels.  This has a mechanically seamed panel that is installed over the main gym's barrel roof.

Project:    Rachel Carson Elementary School

Location:  Sammamish, WA

This school has 50 squares of AEP Span Nu Wave wall panels and 35 squares of AEP Span Design Span roof panels.  The corridor receiving the wall panels is on a slight radius.  We also installed all of the flashing integrated with the roofing, MD Sheet Metal custom gutters and Sch 10 steel welded downspouts.

Project:    Edmonds CC, Brier Hall Addition

Location:  Edmonds, WA

This is a small project with a variety of different panels.  We are using AEP Span Design Span panels for both the walls and the roof.  We also installed AEP Span Nu Wave panels and PS12 panels at the soffits and Firestone UnaCore composite panels at the entries.  We also installed gutters made by MD Sheet Metal.

Project:    Inglewood Junior HS

Location:  Sammamish, WA

Size:        $155,000

On this school, the roof panels installed are AEP Span's Span Lok.  Span Lok is a mechanically seamed panel that is used primarily in low-slope applications.  The wall panels are Centria's IW-40A.  They are a concealed fastener panel with a 1" reveal.  This project was the second time that we had been asked to install CFB panels.

Project:    Ingraham HS

Location:  Seattle, WA

This was our first barrel roof project.  The roof panels used are AEP Span's Select Seam Narrow Batten and the wall panels are AEP Span HR-36.  We worked on this project with two different General Contractor's over the course of two years to complete these two roofs.

Project:    Cathcart Maintenance Facility

Location:  Snohomish, WA

This facility consists of eight different buildings.  On five of the buildings, there is a total of 135,000 sq ft of Architectural Metal Solution's Armor-Lock roof panel.  This is a mechanically seamed panel used primarily for low-sloped roofs.  Three of the buildings will have 25,000 sq ft of McElroy's Mega Rib panel also supplied by Architectural Metal Solutions.  On five of the buildings we will be welding on structural clips, fastening light gauge zee girt, and installing close to 100,000 sq ft of Metecno-API AP230 insulated wall panels.  We will also be installing seismic joints and louvers that are integrated in the system.

Project:    Sammamish Commons

Location:  Sammamish, WA 

Size:        $400,000

This is a LEED, Energy Star project.  The roof panels are Regal White and were manufactured on site by Morin.  It is their SLR-18, mechanically seamed roof panel.  The panel machine was hoisted to the edge of the roof and the 150' long panels were handled by 8 men.  The siding panel is Morin's 18ga, F-12 Flush Panel.  As an extra, we installed all of the louvers on this project.  MD Sheet Metal fabricated the custom flat panels at the top of the masonry walls.

Project:    Mukilteo City Hall

Location:  Mukilteo, WA

On this project, we installed 60 squares of AEP Span Span Lok roof panels.  This is a mechanically seamed panel with a 2" high rib.  We also had our carpenters install 36 squares of a cedar siding rain screen and 6 squares of cedar soffit.  The 68 squares of grey material is Slatescape Extreme.  A composite panel that gives the appearance of natural sheets of slate.

Project:    Power Distribution Headquarters

Location:  Seattle, WA

Two of the panels used on this project are from Garland.  The standing seam roof panel is 18" wide R-MER Span.  This is a T-Rib panel that has a batten with hot-melt sealant that is mechanically seamed to it for watertight closure.  The wall panels on the inside of the parapet wall are R-MER Flush panels.  The body of the building has AEP Span Box Rib wall panels.

Project:   Silver Lake Water District

Location: Everett, WA

On this building, we used AEP Span's 16" wide, Span Lock panel.  This is a mechanically-seamed panel that is typically used on low-slope roof applications.  On the mechanical mezzanine soffit, we used a 12" wide, perforated, soffit panel that was field-run by Architectural Metal Solutions.

Project:    Burlington City Hall

Location:  Burlington, WA

This roof has AEP Span's Klip Rib panel installed on it.  All of the radius fascia and gutter was made with a CNC machine and put together with a Snap Lock flange.  The gutters are fabricated with MD Sheet Metal's 7" commercial gutter machine. The steel downspouts were also fabricated by MD Sheet Metal.

Project:    Poulsbo City Hall

Location:  Poulsbo, WA

This is mainly a roof panel project.  We installed 105 squares of roof assembly substrate and AEP Span's Klip Rib panel system.  We also installed 35 squares of Hardie Panel as well as WRB and peel and stick around most of the project.

 

Project:   Terminal 18 Crane Maintenance

Location: Harbor Island, WA

Size:       $95,000

The roof panels used on this facility are AEP Span's 17" wide Design Span panels. This is one of the most popular commercial snap lock panels. The wall panels are AEP Span's Nu Wave panel. This is also one of the most common 7/8" corrugated panels.

Projects:    Sammamish Children's School

Location:    Sammamish, WA

The roof on the main building and the two covered play areas are AEP Span Klip Rib panels.  The Terra Cotta and Silver Metallic panels are AEP Span Mini-V Beam.  This is the first project we were asked to install CFB panels on.  We declined on this project but this is what promoted the idea to expand our company to include more than just sheet metal cladding.

Projects:    Eastside Baha'i Church

Location:   Bellevue, WA

This was a very unique project that had very restricted access.  We persuaded the neighboring building to allow us to put a crane in their parking lot after hours in exchange for a gift basket.  The roof panels are Fabral's Stand and Seam.  This is a mechanically seamed panel designed for low-slope and radius roofs. 

 

 

Projects:    Waterfront Residence

Location:    Bellevue, WA

On this custom home, we installed AEP Span Klip Rib Panels.  We also made several different custom flashings for above the indoor pool, on top of the exposed beams and a water trough for the single-ply roof system.  There is only a small portion of this 7500 sq ft roof visible in this photo.  The Klip Rib panels installed vertically on the mansard are part of an existing 5 car garage.
