Project:   Liberty High School Phase 3

Location: Renton, WA

We have been awarded the contract for all three phases of this school.  On this phase, we are installing more composite panel columns from MM systems, 50 squares of perforated metal soffit panels from AEP Span, 3.5 squares of Hardie soffit panels, 175 squares of insulated metal wall panels from Metal Sales, 175 squares of corrugated metal wall panels from Metal Span and 40 squares of Prodema phenolic panels.

Year:       2015

Project:   Bates/Mohler

Location: Tacoma, WA

Size:       $650,000

This project has been in the design phase for close to 10 years. We are installing 85 squares of Una Clad composite panels, 40 squares of Bryer's corrugated metal wall panels, 9 squares of Bryer's Superseam roof panel and 150 GFRC panels. This is the first project where we have installed concrete wall panels.

Project:   Ben Rush Elementary School

Location: Redmond, WA

This project is quite a bit different from others we have done.  Because this was a bid package project, we did not install any weather barrier, insulation, furring or sheet metal.  The only thing we installed was cement fiber board.  Our carpenters put on 135 squares of Artisan Lap Siding, 150 squares of James Hardie panel and 30 squares of James Hardie soffit.

Project:   Harrison Prep

Location: Lakewood, WA

On this project, we are installing a variety of different panels.  The majority of the panels are 365 squares of Metal Sales T10-A corrugated panels in two different colors.  We are also installing 85 squares of Metal Sales Soffit panels.  In addition to metal wall panels, we are also installing 120 squares of Trespa Meteon panels.  The 140 square roof will be Metal Sales Magna Loc panels.

Project:   Shorecrest High School

Location: Seattle, WA

Size:       $1,500,000

This was a great size wall panel project for us. We installed 18 squares of Una Clad composite panels, 40 squares of AEP Span's PS12 soffit panels, 100 squares of AEP Span's PS12 wall panels and 600 squares of AEP Span's Nu Wave panels. We also installed 60 squares of Trespa phenolic resin panel soffits.

Project:   Liberty Phase 2

This addition is using all of the same products that we used on phase 1. We are installing 9 squares of composite panels from Bestworth Rommel, 140 squares of insulated panels from Metal Span, 125 squares of corrugated panels from Metal Span and 30 squares of soffit panels from AEP Span.

Project:   Kirkland Public Safety Building

Location: Kirkland, WA

This is going to be the first time that we have installed the Hardie Panel Reveal System.  In addition to 53 squares of this system, we will also be installing 15 squares of lap siding as well as the sheet metal on the roof.

Year:       2013

Project:   Bellevue High School

Location: Bellevue, WA

The majority of the project is installation of James Hardie CFB panels. There are 760 squares of 3 different exterior systems made up of Green Guard weather barrier, Blueskin peel and stick, Roxul exterior insulation, perforated z-furring, ColorPlus Hardie panels with an aluminum batt system or standard Hardie with AMS extruded moldings. There is also 350 squares of interior CFB panels and 85 squares of CFB soffit. We are installing 300 squares of AMS metal roof panels over an insulated sub-system, installing all of the flashing for the roofers as well as making some small parts for other trades.

Project:   Alexander Graham Bell Elementary

Location: Kirkland, WA

Size:       $950,000

This school was originally bid as a cement fiber board project but it was less expensive to install this with metal siding. We are installing all of the peel and stick at the openings and overlaps of the sheet metal legs. There is a two layer furring system that we are also installing for 300 squares of AEP Span's Design Span panel. This is commonly used for roofing but will be used as wall panels. We are also installing 85 squares of AEP Span's PS12, 7 squares of plywood soffits, 10 squares of Trespa and all of the sheet metal flashing and trim including the clad metal for the roofing contractor

Project:   Everett CC Student & Health Fitness

Location: Everett, WA

On this school, we are installing 120 squares of Kingspan's 4" vertical insulated foam panel, 14 squares of Kingspan's 2" horizontal insulated foam panel and 30 squares of Kingspan's Y-36 corrugated equipment screen panels.

This is a small project with large panels. The insulated panels from Kingspan are over 45' tall. We are also installing aluminum composite panels manufactured by Bestworth Rommel.

Project:   View Ridge Elementary School

Location: Everett, WA

View Ridge Elementary is primarily a flashing project for us. We are installing the material that is integrated in to the single ply system, the cement fiber board cladding, windows and gutters. We are also installing 3 squares of composite panels along with 40 squares of canopy panels

Project:   Hudtloff Middle School

Location: Lakewood, WA

Hudtloff is made up mostly of Knight Wall's furring system. The majority is behind acrylic plaster panels applied by others but we are also installing it behind our cladding. In addition to installing Green Guard weather barrier, we are also installing Swiss Pearl composite panels, Northclad aluminum plate, Trespa panels and AEP Span Multi-Lok roof panels.

Project:   Cherry Crest Elementary

Location: Bellevue, WA

Size:       $425,000

Cherry Crest is made up of a lot of small parts. We are installing 8 squares of Trespa, 15 squares of AEP Span PS12 soffit panels, 120 squares of AEP Span PS12 wall panels and 30 squares of AEP Span's Span Lock roof panels. We are also fabricating all of the sequenced CFB flashings for another subcontractor and installing window

flashings for the glazier.

Project:   412 Broadway

Location: Seattle, WA

This is a small apartment project that is funded by the Carpenters Union. We are installing a Tyvek air barrier system along with Blueskin SAF. Our carpenters are installing CFB lap siding and our sheet metal craftsman will be installing the associated flashing and trim.

Project:   Echo Glen Childrens Center

Location: Issaquah, WA

This was our first single ply project. We installed 95 squares of Versico PVC membrane and it was a great success. We received a 10 out of 10 rating! We also installed 155 squares of AEP Span's Span Lock metal roofing and 75 squares of Hardie lap siding.

Project:    Northshore Fire Headquarters

Location:  Kenmore, WA

This is a smaller building that has a large variety of cladding types.  We are installing about 25 squares of insulated foam panels from Metal Span, 10 squares of AEP Span HR-36 on a canopy, 25 squares of AEP Span Klip Rib roof panels, 40 squares of Hardie Panel, 20 squares of Hardie Soffit, 15 squares of cedar lap siding and 15 squares of tongue and groove soffit.  In addition, we are going to install 7" custom gutters that will be site-rolled from MD Sheet Metal.

Project:   Newport High School

Location: Bellevue, WA

On this project, we installed Cement Fiber Board made by James Hardie for the first time. The Beige and Berry wall panels are McElroy's Mega-Rib and supplied by Architectural Metal Solutions. The light-colored panels on both the interior and exterior are McElroy's 7/8" Corrugated supplied by AMS. The roof panels were run on site by AMS and installed by our crew. MD Sheet Metal fabricated all of the flashing for this project including the Galvalume flashing around the CFB and the welded, tube steel downspouts.

Project:    Ballard Landmark Assisted Living

Location:  Ballard, WA

On this project, we have combined the skills of both our carpenters and sheet metal craftsmen.  Together they installed all of the window flashings and wall barrier by VaproShield.  Are carpenters installed the windows, sliders, seismic joints and cornice bracing.  They also installed 8 1/2 squares of clear plywood with custom trim, 140 squares of 4' x 10' Hardi Panel, 40 squares of 12" exposure Hardi lap siding and 60 squares of Hardi soffit.  Our sheet metal workers installed all of the integral metal Hardi assembly flashings, coping, belly bands, metal cornice, custom vents, decorative false columns and 64 squares of custom metal panels.  The other area that we are very proud of is the Historical Ballard Restoration.  MD Sheet Metal has crafted dentils, arched copings and ornamental shapes to recreate the facade of the original building built in the early 1900's.

Project:   Robert Frost Elementary

Robert Frost Elementary was the recipient of a 2010 Washington Chapter of CEFPI Polished Apple Award.This school had work for both our carpenters and sheet metal craftsmen. We installed 6 squares of James Hardi Lap Siding, 270 squares of James Hardi Panel Siding and 62 squares of AEP Span PS12 soffit panels. We installed all of the roof flashings for both the built-up roofing and the composite shingles, MD Sheet Metal custom gutters, downspouts and miscellaneous flashings.

Project:    Twin Falls Middle School

Location:  North Bend, WA

This school is going to have Flush Wall Panels and Soffit Panels supplied by McElroy Metals and installed by our sheet metal tradesmen.  They will also be installing metal flashing incorporated with our metal wall and soffit systems, integrated with a built-up roof system and integrated with the cement fiber siding.  They will also be installing our custom, commercial gutters and steel downspouts.  Our carpenters will be installing building wrap, peel and stick at openings, HardiPanel and HardiBoard by James Hardie.

Project:    Ardmore Elementary School

Location:  Bellevue, WA

Installing Hardie cladding has become a trend for the Bellevue Shool District.  On Ardmore, we are installing 4 types of Hardie on 9 different substrate assemblies.  We have 90 squares of Artisan lap siding, 100 squares of 4" exposure plank siding, 60 squares of 6" exposure plank siding and 35 squares of Hardie panel.  In addition to the cement fiber board, we are installing 18ga canopy panels, interior sunshade panels and interior acoustical wall panels.

Project:    Mukilteo City Hall

Location:  Mukilteo, WA 

Size:        $380,000

On this project, we installed 60 squares of AEP Span Span Lok roof panels.  This is a mechanically seamed panel with a 2" high rib.  We also had our carpenters install 36 squares of a cedar siding rain screen and 6 squares of cedar soffit.  The 68 squares of grey material is Slatescape extreme.  A composite panel that gives the appearance of natural sheets of slate.

Project:    Sherwood Forest

Location:  Bellevue, WA

This school had work for both our carpenters and sheet metal craftsmen.  We installed 46 squares of AEP Span Nu-Wave wall panels, 140 squares of Hardi panels and 14 squares of Hardi 8" exposure lap siding.  We also installed all of the roof flashings for both the built-up roofing and the composite shingles, MD Sheet Metal custom gutters, downspouts and miscellaneous flashings.

Project:    Lakota Middle School

Location:  Federal Way, WA

On Lakota Middle School, we are installing 90 squares of Kinspan/API insulated foam wall panels.  We are also installing 50 squares of concealed-fastener, ribbed panels from ATAS.   Although another subcontrator is installing the metal roof panels, MD Sheet Metal is fabricating 1500 lineal feet of our custom gutter for our MD Exterior employees to install.

Project:    Canyon Park Junior High

Location:  Bothell, WA

These two buildings are additions to the existing school.  Our sheet metal installers put on all of the clad metal for the single-ply roof system as well as the flashings integrated with the cement fiber board.  Our carpenters are installing all of the cement fiber boards, cement fiber batts and all of the wood trim integrated with the CFB assembly.

Project:    Whittier Elementary School

This is a small project consisting of about 30 squares of Hardie panel as well as miscellaneous wood trims.  The majority of the project is installation of MD Sheet Metal's 7" continuous site-run panel.

 

Project:    Trilogy Retail Center

Location:  Redmond, WA

This is a small project that is made up of metal roof canopies using AEP Span Design Span panels,  exterior plywood and cedar battens.  We also installed some custom flat panels on the back side of the parapet walls, miscellaneous sheet metal parts and welded steel downspouts.

On these condominiumns, we installed all of the building wrap, penetration peel and stick, windows, doors, sliders and metal flashings.  We also installed the clear, cedar soffits.

Projects:   Space Needle

Location:   Seattle, WA

We have several small projects that are ongoing with the Space Needle.  We installed fiberglass panels with bonded aluminum around the interior wall of the interior observation deck.  These panels were provided by Forms and Surfaces.  In the spring, we will be installing stainless steel panels, also provided by Forms and Surfaces, around the interior wall of the exterior observation deck.  We have also done other miscellaneous projects like installing stainless steel corner guards in their kitchen.
